The Old Walk Through Tree

Hole was carved in the early 1900's as a safe place for people using horse and buggy to protect themselves from surprise snow storms. You just tacked a blanket over both sides and hide in the tree till storm stopped. The tree was blown down in a storm in 2018 .... three weeks after this picture was taken.
